Hi, I'm Makenzie -
I'm not a coach, TikTok guru, or someone with a perfect morning routine.
I'm just a girl who got tired of seeing women (myself included) feel stuck, numb,
or like they're always one step behind their own life.
So I built this experience (with the help of a lot of amazing women). Not because I have it all figured out – I don't. But because I know what it feels like when the fog finally lifts and you can see clearly again.
And you deserve those tools and resources without spending thousands on therapy
or online self improvement courses, or hours of your life reading a book.
Don't get me wrong... all of those things can be helpful, but iLN was designed with the core concept in mind "different things drive different people" - I know that what works for me, may not work for you. So I made sure that in the creation of this experience it would meet you exactly where you are today, and help you get to where you want to go.

Our Origin Story
Where It All Started
iLN grew out of something bigger: Center for Talent Solutions (CTS), the company my father built and I've worked with for years.
For over 25 years, Center for Talent Solutions has helped thousands of people in some of the biggest companies answer one question: “What actually makes you want to engage, develop, and stay in an organization?”
My father, Derrick Barton created a hands-on tool called the TALENT Drivers – these drivers described areas such as direction, growth, relationships, and purpose (the real stuff). Then he provided them the solutions to impact each driver.
We've used this approach with thousands of people across large and small companies in every industry, and it works. People didn’t just perform better; they came alive at work. We watched entire teams shift when individuals finally saw their own drivers clearly and companies started honoring them.
It worked. Like, stupidly well.
Then 2020 happened – and life refused to stay in second place.
From Work to Life
How iLN Came To Be
Suddenly nobody cared about “work-life balance” anymore. Life took center stage.
People started reevaluating priorities, seeing the value of their time in a new light,
and asking bigger questions beyond just their jobs.
That's when it clicked: the same thing that made people thrive at work could make
them thrive in life. The LIFEDrivers were born.
The LIFEDrivers started as a concept years ago, but the proof came from CTS. We took everything we’d proven with TALENT Drivers and expanded it beyond the office –
50 drivers for the whole damn human experience.
Tested them first inside companies (connecting personal drivers to work ones), then realized people needed this for themselves, not just their jobs.
